About Math Language
We partner with families and schools to make rigorous math feel clear, doable, and fun for every K–6 learner.
Founded in 2015, Math Language transforms how K–6 students experience math. Our enrichment programs start by teaching the language of math in plain, everyday words. Then students dive into hands-on, experiential practice that builds deep understanding of the “why” and “how” behind each idea. Only after it makes sense do we ask them to memorize facts and formulas.
We prepare students to embrace rigor using logic, bravery, and critical thinking—without losing the joy of discovery.
Math Language also knows students learn best with a strong village. We provide learning support and tools for families and educators so math feels less stressful at home and in class.
Many of our students go on to early Algebra and advanced high school math because their K–6 foundation is solid and confidence-filled.
